As an Training Specialist at Opal, you will be responsible for training our users through a variety of methods from onsite and remote trainings to webinars and success calls. The ideal candidate will need to be able to educate users from world class brands at the drop of a hat. You thrive on making other people successful and live for the brilliant ‘ah-ha’ moment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Instructor Led Training to our customers.
  • Work in tandem with Opal’s Customer Success Managers to provide training experiences unique and relevant to each customer.
  • Be an expert on platform functionality.
  • Travel to customer locations for on-site training.
  • Bring fresh ideas for how to deliver engaging training for all learning styles.
  • Communicate the health of the platform back to product and provide insight from the field.

Skills:

  • 2+ years in a training role, ideally within the enterprise Saas industry.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with learning management systems and instructional design is a plus.
  • Effective and eloquent communication skills.
  • Professional and confident speaking in front of groups large and small.
  • Patient, empathetic, enthusiastic and helpful to others.
  • Digitally savvy with a quick learning curve.
  • A team player who can easily adapt to the changes of a growing team and product offering.
  • Proficiency with iWork.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
